Description

Swenson He is seeking an experienced, talented, self-motivated Talent Acquisition Manager to maximize talent success and retention while driving increased employee happiness within our existing company culture. This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing and solely in-house development team in Los Angeles. Experience recruiting within the mobile application industry or a strong understanding of software development best practices is important.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process and build out the talent pipeline by sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding high-level Tech talent for contract and permanent opportunities
  • Create technical job requirements and detailed job descriptions
  • Log all activity completely and accurately in Workable and clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Swenson He's products, services & capabilities in order to attract talent that would thrive in our company culture
  • Define processes and tools for recruiting/onboarding in order to enhance candidate experience and expedite time to fill positions
  • Build strong assessment criteria and evaluations for hiring managers
  • Schedule individual and group interviews for hiring managers
  • Foster long-term relationships with candidates and manage people operations/employee happiness
  • Develop and implement culture initiatives and monitor career growth of talent
  • Partner with Human Resources for employee grievances and complaints
  • Collaborate with management to develop a culture of learning, high employee engagement and continuous feedback
  • Conduct employee surveys and drive culture initiatives to maximize employee experience
  • Act as brand ambassador by engaging with local tech communities to attract top talent
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the industry: forecast opportunities, issues, strategies, and trends to help our business stay on the bleeding edge of innovation

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in recruiting top technical roles such as Software Engineers (Golang, AWS, Magento, Swift, Python, Java, React, Ruby etc), Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Project Managers, and QA Engineers.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Passionate about nurturing a culture that supports the development of amazing work in a creative environment
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or related applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, phone, chat, video conference
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Friendly, with the ability to build relationships quickly
  • Extremely organized with excellent follow-up and sharp attention to details
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with a desire to learn and continuously improve
  • Strong knowledge of the prominent mobile technologies
  • Problem solving attitude with a tenacious passion for recruiting
  • Results-oriented, highly productive, self-starter who is able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be customer service oriented and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability, and have a strong work initiative
  • Work onsite in our Culver City office
  • Bachelor’s degree
